Now MoonPhase is back & reporting that a new FullMetal Alchemist TV anime series has finally been officially confirmed, according to the latest manga volume in Japan. The second series will supposedly start airing in April 2009 in Japan & run for a year, making it the same length as the original series. The old rumor that the new series will follow the manga's storyline more accurately also seems to be holding for the time being as well. Though considering the first half of the original FMA anime was pretty close to the manga as is, I wonder how they'll avoid being derivative in respect to that part of the story.

MoonPhase Ahora está de vuelta y se informa que un nuevo fullmetal alchemist serie de anime de televisión finalmente se ha confirmado oficialmente, según el último volumen de manga en Japón. La segunda serie se supone empezar a transmitirse en abril de 2009 en Japón y una duración de un año, por lo que es la misma duración que la serie original. El viejo rumor de que la nueva serie seguirá la línea argumental del manga con más precisión también parece ser la celebración, por el momento, también. Aunque teniendo en cuenta la primera mitad de la FMA anime original fue muy cerca del manga como es, me pregunto cómo va a evitar ser derivado en lo que respecta a la parte de la historia.

FullMetal Alchemist 2 Premieres in April

The official FullMetal Alchemist Japanese website has updated with a teaser trailer video for the upcoming new FMA anime series. As can be seen in the video above, the premiere date is set for April 2009. Not much else is known, except for the trailer suggesting that more info on the series will come out on December 12. So we just have to wait a few more days.
Previous reports said that this new series wont be a continuation of the first, but rather a new adaptation that more closely follows the long-running manga. I still wonder how they plan to handle the first part of the story then. The first half of the original anime serie

La web oficial del FullMetalAlquimist puesto una pequeño trailer bromista para la próxima nueva serie anime de FMA. Como puede verse en el video sobre, la fecha del estreno es fija durante el 2009 de abril. No mucho es conocido, salvo el trailer que sugiere que más info en la serie saldrán el 12 de diciembre. Así esperar unos más días.
Los informes anteriores dijeron que esta nueva version de la serie es una continuación del primero, sino una nueva adaptación que esta más estrechamente siguiendo el manga. Yo todavía me pregunto cómo ellos planean ocuparse de la primera parte de la historia entonces.
