I was browsing through "the Office" NBC website today when I ran into an interesting entry in Schrute-Space, the official blog of Office character Dwight Schrute (played by Rainn Wilson in the series). The entry in question was titled "the Curious Rise of Tentacle Sex in Manga." Granted it's a few months old by this point, but this was the first time I checked out Schrute-Space since it first launched, so pardon my lateness on reporting this.
The blog entry features Dwight talking about manga. (His favorite title? Ranma 1/2.) But more specifically we delves into the topic of hentai manga that feature shokushu goukan- tentacle rape. Sounding just as Dwight-y as he does on the TV show, he rants about how it doesn't make sense for octopus & their brethren to go out in search of sex with human women since they're non-sexual creatures. He claims octopi should be respected, not treated as evil sexual deviants. Instead, he suggests jelly fish should be depicted as the villains of the deep.
