Ecchi manga series "He is my Master" may have come to an early end even though the story hasn't finished yet. The manga has already been on hiatus for quite while, but now word comes out that the married team behind the manga have filed for divorce. Up to this point, husband Mattsu has done the story, while wife Tsubaki took care of the art. But apparently the two had marital problems & are no longer living or working together. Currently only five volumes have been published in Japan, & the fifth (& currently last) volume will published in America later this summer. (The anime adaptation remains unlicensed after all this time, surprisingly.)
All is not lost though, my maid-fetish friends. Now while Tsubaki has stated that she no longer wants to work on the series, Mattsu wants to see it continue. He's actively seeking out a new artist for the series. More specifically, he's hoping that popular hentai artist Ishikei will take over the role. Ishikei has actually released "He is my Master" doujinshi in the past, so clearly he's a fan of the series & he knows how to draw the characters.
Personally I think it'd be epic if a former doujin artist of the series winds up taking over drawing it. I'm not expecting it to turn into a hentai series if he does jump on board, I just think it'd be crazy awesome. So let's hope this happens!
