Stan Lee to Co-Create Anime Series

Stan Lee's all over the anime & manga world as of late. Word has now come out that the comic legend (Spider-Man, X-Men) will be teaming up with studio Bones in Japan (FullMetal Alchemist, Wolf's Rain) to create a brand new anime series titled "Hero Man." The story revolves around a boy named Joey who finds a robot toy, which becomes a giant robot named Hero Man that the boy can pilot to fight evil with.

This news comes after Lee announcing that he & Shaman King creator Hiroyuki Takei to create a one-shot manga called "Ultimo." A promotional pic of characters from the manga, which is set to come out next week in Japan's Jump Square magazine, can be seen above.
